
MII Establishes Strategic Partnership with IPB University for the Development of Excellent Human Resources
Bogor, April 17, 2025 — PT Mats International Indonesia (MII) has officially solidified a strategic partnership with Bogor Agricultural University (IPB University) as part of a mutual commitment to strengthen the development of superior human resources through the synergy between the education sector and industry. The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement took place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, represented by CEO of PT MII, Mr. Sriyono B. Soebianto, and the Vice Rector of IPB for Global Connectivity, Cooperation, and Alumni, Prof. Dr. Ir. Iskandar Zulkarnaen Siregar.
In his remarks, Mr. Sriyono B. Soebianto emphasized that this cooperation initiative is not merely a formal administrative act but a strategic initial step in building an ecosystem for the development of high-quality and competitive human resources. He asserted that this collaboration is a concrete manifestation of MII’s support for the national agenda currently led by President Prabowo Subianto, particularly in realizing the government's eight goals or Asta Cita, with a focus on enhancing the quality of education and national entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Ir. Iskandar Zulkarnaen Siregar warmly welcomed this partnership as an important synergy between the academic world and the industrial sector. He stated, “This cooperation is a concrete response to future challenges as well as an opportunity in the fields of education and agromaritime logistics.” In his presentation, Prof. Iskandar also outlined various state-of-the-art facilities possessed by IPB, including smart classrooms and new study programs such as artificial intelligence, highlighting the significant potential of the IPB Graduate Program in Agro Maritime Logistics as an innovative solution to future logistics challenges.
The signing event was also attended by IPB officials including the Director of Cooperation Dr. Alfian Helmi, S.Kpm., M.Sc; Dean of the Graduate School Prof. Dr. Ir. Dodik Ridho Nurrochmat, M.Sc.F.Trop; and Secretary of the Agro Maritime Logistics Study Program Dr. Mustaruddin, S.TP.
This cooperation is expected to open up various opportunities for further strategic collaborations in education, research, and human resource development with a positive and broad impact on national progress and support for the advancement of national industry.
