Jakarta, June 14, 2025 — Mats Internasional Indonesia (MII), a key player in global logistics solutions, and Institut Transportasi dan Logistik (ITL) Trisakti have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation in education, research, and industrial development. The MoU was formalized at the Indo Defence Expo and Forum 2024 (June 2025), one of Asia’s largest defense and technology exhibitions, held in Jakarta.
The agreement was signed by MII CEO, Mr. Sriyono B. Soebianto, and Vice Rector IV of ITL Trisakti, H. Basri, Ph.D., signifying both institutions' commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry in the logistics and transportation sector.
The collaboration will focus on providing internship programs, joint research opportunities, industry-based curriculum development, and skills training designed to equip students with practical competencies relevant to the logistics and supply chain industries.
In his remarks, Sriyono highlighted the strategic value of linking industry with academic institutions. “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting Indonesia’s talent development and preparing the next generation of professionals in logistics and international trade,” he stated.
Basri welcomed the collaboration, emphasizing its alignment with ITL Trisakti’s mission to produce industry-ready graduates. “We believe that through this MoU, our students will gain real-world exposure and the applied knowledge needed to thrive in today’s competitive logistics landscape,” he said.
This agreement also aligns with Indonesia’s broader efforts to develop a high-quality workforce and position itself as a logistics hub in the region. By joining forces, MII and ITL Trisakti aim to contribute to national progress through innovation, knowledge exchange, and capacity building.
Both parties expressed optimism that this MoU will lead to impactful initiatives and a long-term partnership that benefits students, academia, and industry alike.
